Brandefy Review

*Both Tarte and Makeup Obsession claim to be cruelty-free. Makeup Maven, Kayla, found Tarte for $25 for 4oz and Makeup Obsession for $8 for 3.38oz. Kayla says: Both products come in a similar spray bottle with a similar mist. They are very lightweight on the face. Tarte smells like cucumbers & aloe while Makeup Obsession smells like pistachios or cherries. I love how both smell. The smell dissipates quickly once sprayed on the skin. Alcohol Denat is the 2nd ingredient in both products. This may be an irritant for someone with sensitive skin. Both have Aloe which helps with dry skin that the Alcohol may give you. I am combo dry with an oily t zone by the end of most days the oil comes through the most on my nose. Both setting sprays kept most of the oil on my nose at bay for a whole 12 hours. Tarte claims your makeup won’t settle into fine lines throughout the day but after a humid 12 hour day, I did have some creasing in my smile lines. Both products are great products but price wise Makeup Obsession is much cheaper, where would you go wrong switching over?!
