Brandefy Review

*According to Cruelty-Free Kitty, both Kat Von D and NYX are cruelty-free* Makeup Maven, Kayla, says: Kat Von D brand is $20 & NYX is $9. You actually get a bit more product in the NYX liner as well. Both colors are very black. They dry down quickly and do not smudge. The liner still looks great after a 12 hour work day. Kat Von D's tip is a bit longer, therefore a little bit easier to do detail work but it doesn't make the NYX any less desirable. I would definitely suggest skipping Kat Von D's liner & just buying this one.

The nyx ink liner is the closest thing to trooper that I’ve ever found. I’d say the only difference is that trooper stands up to watery eyes better than the ink liner. But the brush and the consistency and color pay off is spot on. And it’s way cheaper!

I love both of them. The trooper liner just applies a bit better for some reason. The felt tip on the KVD just is smoother. Both worth great though. The NYX is the closest to the KVD that I have tried so far. When I can splurge I’ll buy the trooper liner. If not NYX it is! Great price for a great liner.

Both of these liners are at the top of my list. I feel like NYX has the edge here, just because it is virtually the same product, for half the price. Plus, I feel like my NXY lasted longer than my KVD

YES! I just started using this app so I typed in one of my favorite prestige items, only to find that the recommended dupe is the same exact budget-friendly product I switched to almost a year ago. These are both great products. I’m a Beauty Consultant at Target and recommend this often when we have guests looking for a great liquid eyeliner.

I think the Kat Von D is better than the NYX. For some reason, about a month or so after purchasing the nyx, it starts leaking everywhere. I'm not sure why this happens but it's super frustrating.

I love the NYX Liner. I used NYX before switching to the KVD liner (I’ve tried all her liners) and I switched back to NYX. It’s easy to put on and very black like KVD. The one thing that I didn’t like about the KVD liner is that it would Erase when I would apply another layer of the liner, it dry out fast, and would finish fas as well. The NYX doesn’t do that and I get a lot for my money.
