Brandefy Review

*Both brands are cruelty-free according to Ethical Elephant. Makeup Maven, Stacie, says: The Glossier Clear and the e.l.f. Clear Lacquer are almost identical. Both have a light pleasant scent and a high gloss shine. The packaging is nearly identical but the e.l.f. is slightly longer. I found the e.l.f. to be slightly stickier, while the Glossier is all shine without being sticky. The Glossier lasted a little longer but for the money, I would choose the e.l.f. gloss.

Some small differences but similar overall.

i have sensory issues (don’t like anything really sticky, scratchy, itchy, etc) and since my least favorite feeling is stickiness i was hesitant to try the elf gloss. however the elf gloss is not as sticky as many other glosses i’ve tried, and it’s my current favorite clear gloss. i have to reapply kind of often, but i still think it’s worth it.

I love both glosses! I have found that the Glossier goes on thicker and lasts a little longer.

ELF gloss requires more frequent application, but at such a cheap price, it’s worth it. This product goes on nicely, looks good, and feels nice. Doesn’t feel sticky, which I LOVE.

I find the glossier gloss not too sticky but it’s definitely a much thicker formula.
