*According to Cruelty-Free Kitty, Essence is cruelty-free but Chanel is NOT. Commander in Chic, Natalie Reddell, says: Essence has a much larger brush than Chanel. Chanel is known for giving the lashes a thick base, AKA a 'fat bottom.' It also gives extreme length to the lashes. Essence does not result in the same look as Chanel. It is clumpier and doesn't give great length. Stick with Chanel on this one.
I’m not saying these 2 are alike but I do buy a lot of essence products. I like their lippies, palettes etc The mascara is just as good as a high end mascara I have this one.,
