Not very similar to the name brand.
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill JH01 Powder Brush is $24 and Crown Brushes Pro Lush Powder Brush C518 is $15. I absolutely love the JH01 powder brush. It is so incredibly soft and quite large. The bristles move easily and is perfect for setting powder, finishing powder and bronzer. It does not pick up too much product so you are able to build to your desired pigmentation. Morphe Brushes sometimes shed but I did not have any issues with this particular brush. The handle is easy to hold and is comfortable. The C518 brush looks exactly like the JH01 brush online. Because of all the rumors in the beauty community about Crown Brushes private labelling for Morphe, I had to find out if the brush was the same for a much cheaper price. Right off the bat there were some differences. The handle is much chunkier. Not uncomfortable to hold but not the same. The brush head is relatively smaller as well and the bristles are more compact. I thought maybe it would fluff out with more use but so far it really has not. Due to the fact that the bristles are more compact than the JH01 brush applying loose powder just does not feel the same. It is rougher on the face and the bristles do not really conform to your face during application. It is a good powder brush and I will continue to use it, but it not the same as the JH01 brush. So, I do not think it is not a dupe.
