*According to Cruelty-Free Kitty, Colourpop is Cruelty-Free but NARS is NOT. Makeup Maven, Kristin, says: To be honest, both of these lip products are lovely to wear - they apply easily with opaque pigmentation and last throughout the day, even after eating or drinking. While both products left some transfer on straws or cups, I did not have to reapply right after a meal. The shades are also very close in tone, with Colourpops Bichette being just a bit brighter. When I wore them side by side, I could barely tell a difference, although I doubt that anyone I encountered could have guessed I was wearing two different shades.
There are some differences - NARS Cruella is a flat matte color, without any sheen at all, so it a slightly more dry formula. The Colourpop claims to be matte, but actually has a good amount of shine when first applied. Additionally, the NARS is a pencil format, and the Colourpop is a thin bullet lipstick (you can also buy the Bichette shade in a lip liner). I personally preferred the more moisturizing Colourpop formula here and would prefer to buy 4 of their shades for the same cost as one NARS pencil. However, if you are looking for a flat matte red, the Colourpop will not be it - stick to Cruella for that!
CONCLUSION Noticeable differences.
