*According to Cruelty-Free Kitty, Urban Decay is cruelty-free. NYX is also cruelty-free, but their parent company, L'Oreal, is not. Makeup Maven, Kristin, says: A great alternative to Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray. It lasted all night with minimal oily-ness and kept makeup in place. Urban Decay was just a touch more mattifying but both did an excellent job keeping makeup in place.
The Urban Decay setting spray is a thousand times better in my opinion. With the Nyx one, I got caught in the rain and my makeup ran a little. With the Urban Decay, I swam for two hours (and rubbed chlorine out of my eyes several times) and when I got out of the pool my makeup still looked freshly applied.
It is a great setting spray BUT you guys need to look into skindanavia, almost the exact ingredients and PACKAGING as UD. Some say they’re the ones that actually make the UD one.
The Urban Decay setting spray is the formula made by Skindinavia, it even says it right on the packaging. I tried the All-Nighter and I have Skindinavia now, and they function exactly the same!
I have always used Skindanavia andUrban Decay but decided to try the NYX Matte setting spray and was instantly disappointed. It dried out my skin and did not work very well.
I love Skindinavia makeup setting spray better than the UD. However I wouldn’t be opposed to trying NYX, I would just prefer the dewy formula.
