Kroger Baking Supplies

We had lots of holiday baking to do over at Brandefy, and we wanted to use the best decorations! We used the Pillsbury sugar cookie dough and while we wanted to like the Kroger frosting, it was one of the worst foods we’ve tested. The good news: Kroger sprinkles and chocolate chips make for great toppings!

Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla Frosting vs. Kroger Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting

Similarity Score: 37%

Stick to the Pillsbury on this one! The Kroger frosting tastes artificial and has a strange aftertaste. Plus, the Pillsbury is smoother.

Betty Crocker Sprinkles vs. Kroger Sugar Topping

Similarity Score: 93%

These sprinkles taste nearly the same, but Kroger sprinkles are more sparkly, so they're great for decorating! The packaging can be challenging at first, as the lid needs to be popped off to remove a seal.

Nestle Milk Chocolate Chips vs. Kroger Milk Chocolate Baking Chips

Similarity Score: 81%

The Nestle brand has a slight aftertaste that is not too distinguishable. Switching to the Kroger brand is an absolute great choice.
