Neutrogena Body Mist Sunscreen vs. CVS Sheer Mist Spray

Brandefy rates store brands (i.e. CVS) against their name brand counterparts (i.e. Neutrogena) to tell you whether or not the generic is as good as the name brand, and to warn you when it is not. We compare the product by doing an ingredient analysis and consumer sensory testing.

The CVS's spray radius is wider and it smells more like alcohol. But, it is still a pretty good dupe!

In this case, we gave the CVS copycat an 88% similarity score.  While it's ingredients are nearly identical, the CVS bottle's spray radius is larger, and it smells slightly more like alcohol. The consumer panel rated it a 4 out of 5 in overall similarity.

If you're super sensitive to smell, go with Neutrogena, but if you're not, switch to CVS to save.
